Coffee Shop Sales Dashboard

For this project, I created an interactive dashboard for a fictional chain of coffee shops in New York City. The dashboard uses advanced Tableau techniques like LOD calcs and customer chart types like the donut chart. It is comprised of 4 views:

  1. The 'Stores' view shows a breakdown of profits by store location including KPIs like weekly sales, Percent of Sales per Category, and Revenue by Employee.

  2. The 'Employee' view breaks down sales employee, giving the viewer an idea of the highest performing employee for a given period of time.

  3. The 'Product' view shows sales by individual product and product category.

  4. The 'Daily' dashboard is a view created with the intent of giving a manager an easy to read end of day report, cleaning the data up to show a high level summary of the day's operations.

Great care was taken to come up with a design and color scheme to keep this dashboard on brand with a high end coffee shop experience.

1856 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION ANALYSIS

TABLEAU DATA

For this project, the dataset was the vote totals from each state during the 1856 presidential election which resulted in James Buchanan being inaugurated. I did some basic cleanup of this data to make it usable in Tableau.

VISUALIZATIONS

The second part of this assignment was creating different visualizations with the data. The outcome was 4 pretty beautiful graphics that show which electoral votes went to which candidate.

TUTORING COMPANY LAB

This project was for my Management Information Systems class and combined elements of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to produce a comprehensible file of information and charts that tell about a hypothetical tutoring business.

If I were to redo this project, I would make a bar graph that showed how much revenue was generated each day by the company.
